Outdoor Team Activities, Problem Solving and Teambuilding Tasks

BECKs Training doesn't only cater for those who want their adrenaline pumping and muscles aching. We offer teambuilding and problem solving challenges and activities on every level. All the activities below can be set up as competitions between teams as well as an overall team effort.

Team sizes per activity should be from 8-12 people per team, but several teams can compete or complete the activity simultaniously with different facilitators.

Have a look at a few examples:

Ballista Construction

Uncover a wealth of hidden skills when "Who can actually tie a decent knot?" becomes a key question.

Faced with what seemingly is a pile of very random resources, your team will design, build and operate a launching device in order to catapult a tennis ball into a bucket 50 yards away. Time and resources are both precious and neither should be wasted - let the competition commence.

Archery

Master the ancient skill of archery and learn how to use a bow to its best effect - a great fun, competitive sill session.

Firing and arrow into a target using a bow sounds pretty straight forward, but there is a skill to it. However, after a quick demonstration followed by an introductory round your are ready for a competition. Cheer on your team to score and celebrate each bull's eye as if it was the wrold's best thing that ever happened.

BECKs Next Top Photo Shoot

The story of your team must be told through photography whilst tackling great outdoor challenges. Pick from the list of outdoor activities and low level problem solving tasks that best fit your team. Once out on the challenge you must use the skills in your photography team to create the best shots of the day. The roles required will include photographer, custume, make-up, props, models, an art director and finally an editor. The final exhibit must be demonstrated within the time given and showcase your achievements and artistic creativity. Ready, steady, shoot.... and smile!
