Deneholme

Deneholme is an Edwardian country house set in five acres of grounds, located on the edge of Allendale Town which lies in the heart of the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Deneholme is a beautiful, peaceful and well-equipped venue for conferences, training and workshops organised by private, public and voluntary groups.
Up to 28 people can be accommodated in 11 bedrooms. Two of our bedrooms are designed to accommodate guests with special needs. All bedrooms are centrally heated and bathrooms have constant hot water. Beds have duvets and sheets and towels are also provided.

Derwent Manor Hotel

Shepherds Dene

Shepherds Dene is a beautiful Arts and Crafts house, nestling into the side of the Marchburn valley in Tynedale.
Available for retreats, conferences, workshops, away days, pilgrimages, BECKs Development Training teambuilding events and simply for space to relax.
Situated in Tynedale, Shepherds Dene is close to the Northumberland/Durham border and convenient for the local attractions of Hadrian's Wall, the Castles and Coast of Northumberland, The Metrocentre at Gateshead, the North Pennines and the historic city of Durham and lively city of Newcastle.

Matfen Hall

Matfen Hall is the perfect country setting for conferences and corporate events in Northumberland. The Hall retains more of it’s original character and provides a unique venue for meetings, product launches and corporate entertaining.

Otterburn Tower

The Unique Otterburn Tower Country House Hotel and award winning restaurant.
Located in the beautiful Redesdale valley rural Northumberland, northern England, the original building dates back to the 11th century as a castle founded by a cousin of William the Conqueror.
It is an excellent venue for a peaceful conference, on site teambuilding or outdoor team challenges.
The Otterburn Tower nestles in 32 acres of its own estate, fronted by terraced lawns and surrounded by woodland. The gardens stretch down to the village of Otterburn with all the facilities close by. Beautifully restored, the Tower has 17 en-suite rooms with Internet access.
Conference facilities: The tower is able to accommodate 100 people in the Drawing Room and up to 250 delegates with the use of a well-appointed and elegant marquee. Whatever your requirements the friendly Tower staff will endeavour to meet your needs and expectations.

Close House

Close House Country Club reopened in March 2005 after an extensive refurbishment and has since become one of the most sought after venues in the North East of England.

Otterburn Hall

For conferences or meetings Otterburn Hall is ideal. Varying sized suites provide the perfect class room for any educational activity (up to 70 persons) plus plenary sessions (up to 200 persons).

 Minsteracres

Minsteracres is a retreat centre in beautiful Northumberland. We offer a wide variety of residential and day retreats also including corporate teambuilding events with BECKs Development Training. Minsteracres is a Christian (Roman Catholic) retreat centre but welcomes people of all faiths as well as people of none. 
The centre is known for its homely atmosphere, warm hospitality and tranquillity. Set in approximately 90 acres of lawns, parks and woodland, it is the ideal setting for teambuilding events for larger groups.

 

Hadrian Lodge 

Hadrian Lodge has comfortable and cosy rooms, delicious food and a well stocked bar. Amidst historic attractions and outstanding natural scenery, in tranquil rural settings the lodge is less than 2 miles from Hadrian's Wall. Traditionally built in local sandstone it offers excellent accommodation with a great deal of character. Hadrian Lodge offers fully en suite accommodation with single, twin, double and family rooms available. Pleasantly decorated with pine furniture and elegant parquet flooring.
The Hadrian Lodge bar is the epitome of the English country pub with its heavy wood and iron bar tables and traditional open fire blazing in the hearth.
The Lodge does not have a conference room as such, but the breakfast and dining room can easily be converted into a meeting room for up to 30 people.
